Facebook Urban Mentors www.facebook.com

Join Facebook Urban Mentors!!

Let’s make Facebook powerful and fill in the gap for a child around us who does not belong to us biologically or through some familial lines.

I challenge each of you to get a child by July 21st (one month from today) and spend at least ten hours a month with them. This isn’t about buying them things or taking them on fancy excursions, but about showing them positive role models. I’m choosing you as my companions on this challenge, and I encourage you to do the same. Lets make Facebook be about more than social interaction, but make it a social movement to change the lives of the future generations!

I’ve chosen friends and family members from all over the nation from California & Washington State in the West to New York and DC in the east, and of course I saturated the south.
Ages: 5- 18
Interactions: Library trips, museum trips, musicals, plays, your job, tour of city hall etc.

This is just the beginning, please believe there is a plan growing in my mind!
Please comment if you agree and then comment again once you secure your kid. This challenge lasts until next Father’s Day!

You know I love the kids!! ~ Juli Von
